cafe chat is an app where users are able to participate in a digital community hub of interactive discussions where users are able to converse about their interests.

cafe chat was designed with the theme of a cafe for our platform, as it brings neutrals and warm tones that provide the user with a comfortable atmosphere to socialize and feel welcome.

When opening the app, the users are greeted with the option to login or create an account.
Home, Profile, and Create Chatroom
After logging in, users are able to see Mocha, our teddy bear mascot, where he warmly greets the user with the intent to help ease those with social anxiety or needing encouragement to speak with others.

One of the main features in cafe chat is how users are also able to create or join various chatrooms called “cafe chats”, based on their topic of interest.
Chatroom Tags, Trending, and Livestream
Within the community chatrooms, users are able to livestream or create their own events to promote more interactions. Cafe chats are able to be categorized through the use of tags.
